I've got a HS100, thus I first have to get a Kasa-account.
As an IPAD-User I installed the app there - and it asks for user/password.
No way to register before that.
As there also seems to be no save way to do this by PC (Web or Windows-App), I'll have to lend a smartphone, just to register.
Luckily I only got one such plug: probably it is the last one too. :-(

Tried the Tp-link cloud and no success. To jump through this many hoops, just to turn on a power outlet, Iam guessing this company drops this product line.Horrible experience in setting up and everything requires research and finding links. HS 100 dumb plug for sale, CHEAP!

There is no TP-Link kasa app in the UK App Store. You can make a kasa account..but then stuck
