Sharing devices between multiple accounts
Hi,
Is it possible for multiple Kasa accounts to access the same device? My husband and I would both like access to the TP-Link smart plugs but they are already linked to his account and it doesn't appear that I can add them to mine without removing them from his.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
C.

It would be nice to share a camera with multiple users. My husband's office changed cameras specifically because he couldn't easily monitor the office and home without risking people in the office getting access to our home cameras.

@Solla-topee this was really bad planning. We have a family in our household that needs to control these outlets from their devices. Part of our family has kasa devices in other homes as well. How hard can it be to code for multiple accounts controlling the same devices? One account can be admin and share device settings. Admin can grant functional/edit access. What about when siblings can control smart plugs and each other's rooms? What if I don't want everybody to be able to access all the devices?
It's extremely limiting to force everybody on one account, and had I known this I would have bought another device. Knowing this now, I won't be buying new devices and I'll look for an alternative in the near future.

After wading through many pages on the camera sharing issue I simply decided to spend an extra $30 to buy and install a second camera at the same location and put it on its own KASA account. No problem sharing that login/password with anyone because only sharable stuff will be on that system. Shouldn't have to do it this way but the rest of the system is so good for the price that I'm not willing to toss it away for some other brand because of this one issue.

@Solla-topee ridiculous. Why have bound users in TP cloud then?
