Definitely make the Kasa app run-able from more than one account. The initial app can be used to authorize the second and subsequent apps, but definitely need to be able to control devices from different accounts. Since this is has been going on for some time the sooner the better. Great products but software is lacking.

Here's the workaround that worked for me:

- Have each user you want grant access to download TP-Link Tapo app on their device.

- Have each user open the app on their respective devices and create Tapo (TP-Link) credentials (If they don't already have one)

- Download TP-Link Tapo app on your device

- Open the TP-Link Tapo app on your device where you had your KASA app and Log in using your KASA account credentials

You should now see all your devices as they have been in the KASA App.

From there follow the device sharing instructions as per TP-Link and set sharing per device.

Hi,

Is it possible for multiple Kasa accounts to access the same device? My husband and I would both like access to the TP-Link smart plugs but they are already linked to his account and it doesn't appear that I can add them to mine without removing them from his.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

C.
