Has anyone updated their firmware to the latest 1.2.4? Seems like they added a useful and much needed function to switch between 2.4G and 5G network.

Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20181106 Rel. 48798

What's New:

Modifications and Bug Fixes:

1. Please update your Deco App to latest version in order to use new features.

2. Added individual switches on both 2.4G and 5G network.

3. Added customs weekdays and weekend in Parental Controls.

4. Added support of guest network in AP mode or Ethernet Backhaul.

What does "Modified the subnet as 192.168.68.0/24" mean? Changing my DHCP scope after reboot?? That's not good as my LAN switches aren't on DHCP and a bunch of other devices as the DHCP reservation has been limited.

Sure is needed if Out of the box, but not in an update!

Started up my new TP-Link LAN switch a while ago and it caused an IP conflict as it was set up to same IP as a Deco gateway. Either you go DHCP, APIPA or something else than 1 or 254.

Well the IP subnet was indeed changed by the upgrade, it also changed all my IP reservations and gateway, good enough. But all my devices with fixed IP was of course not available anymore. Can't really see why you do such a change in an upgrade?? For anyone with not that much knowledge in networking, it's a mess to change fixed IP on switches, NAS, PCs, TVs and so on. Have to connect with a laptop to each device with old IP subnet address. And what if I was using VLANs as well, luckily I didn't set that up...
