WR902AC does not accept updated firmware version TL-WR902ACv3_US_0.9.1_0.2_up_boot[171229-rel54327]

Hello,
- I have just purchased TL-WR902AC (AC750) WiFi travel router.
- It came with firmware version 0.9.1 0.1 v0089.0 Build 170828 Rel.57433n(4555) out of the box.
- I want to update to the latest firmware from the website https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/download/tl-wr902ac/
- Latest fw version is TL-WR902ACv3_US_0.9.1_0.2_up_boot[171229-rel54327]
- I have downloaded the firmware, extracted the file from ZIP and followed the steps to upgrade.
- The file is uploaded to the device without issue.
- Then the device starts to install/upgrade and gets about 2-3% through and then the job fails with Error 4503 - File not accepted by router.
- I've tried rebooting the device, redownloading the file and still the same error at the same stage.
- Have not yet tried factory-reset on the device.... but it just came out of the plastic wrapped box so I would assume it be Factory already.
Looking for ideas/suggestions to move forward and get the newest FW installed in my device.
Note: I have upgraded firmware successfully in other TP-Link products including other wifi travel routers.
