Archer AX6000 5Ghz stops working after app. 1 day
Hi,
I just bought a Archer AX6000 router. I'm having trouble with the 5 Ghz band. After a clean start up of the router the 5Ghz works fine. I have laptop, 2 phones and a tablet that can all connect to it. But after a day or so the connection is lost and I can't reconnect. The 5Ghz network is intermittend down. So, when scanning for networks sometimes the 5Ghz network is visible, but then dissapears again. This happens on all 4 devices, which make believe that the origin of the problem is with the router.
In a wifi analyzer app I see the same thing. The 5Ghz network is there, and then it isn't. Then it's back again and then it's gone again.
I updated the firmware to the latest available version, which is version 1.0.6.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Or should I return it?

Hello all,
I had speed problems with the original router from the isp so I bought this tp link archer ax6000. Expsive router but I thought it would do the job and (speed)problems would be history. Since the start I installed this router I have problems with it same like you guys here, but then mostly on the 2.4 GHz, and now it starts having problems on the 5 GHz as well. Connection loss and no way to reconnect it. I already let the router restart itself everynight and even then I still have problems during the day. Sometimes I come back from work and my phone (samsung galaxy s7) does not connect and says network error, restarting the router is the onliest solution.
Its not what I expected from a router like this.
I tried different settings like fixed channel, smart connect on/off, enable dissable mimo
What I will try next after reading this tread is a smalle bandweight
I would also like to try the new beta firmware Although I would not expect a better connecting due to the reactions of the others here.

I'm continuing my test, I will see if the beta really fix the issue.
