TP-Link Passive POE Injector Adapter - Can I use it?

I wish to simply connect two Ethernet cables together, as I need to make one longer by just 1m to reach something.

I can buy a Female to Female RJ45 Ethernet connector/adaptor.

However I already have one of these from another TP Link product I bought recently:

Now I don't need to use it for POE or anything.

My question is, will is just work as a simple connection to connect 2 ethernet cables together?

Thanks

@SnaffyNoo

Hello, what is the model number of your current TP-Link adapter device?

How do you want to connect them together with two ethernet cables?

@SnaffyNoo Prueba, en LAN-INPUT cable, en POE-OUTPUT cable.

Puerto DC ¿12V?. Si es solo empalme para extender dos cables no es necesario suministrar power DC.
