Archer c6 "no internet access" and sometime not connecting to the wifi saying "limited connection"
I've faced basiccally two kind of problems. Am I received a faultly product?
- Sometimes in some of my connected devices showing "no internet access" but at the same time the other routers connceted with same internet have internet access.
- Sometimes Some device could not connected to the router but the wifi are showing in the list. After some time of tring it show "limited connection" even I'm setting beside the router.
Every time at the time of problem I instantly connected to my another router which is tplink TL-WR841N, connected to the main WAN and that was working perfectly. Archer c6 is connected with the WR841n with wire and dynamic IP setup.
The problem always fixed every time after restart the router. I need to restart the router almost two to three times a day which the other one is on from long time. I've even forgot when I've turned off my WR841N.
Does I've received a faulty archer c6.

@SubhX Same issues for me, Wired and 5Ghz always fine, 2.4 Ghz randonly dies. If I log onto the router and switch 2.4Ghz off and on it seems to come alive again.
So frustrating, we need a fix asap

Is your router Archer C6 or A6? How is it connected to the network? Is it working as the main router or as an access point?

@Kevin_Z I bought the C6 a few months ago, its just plugged into a Virgin 3 hub which is in modem mode
Again, Wired all fine, 5G fine, but 2.4G is a disaster (I need 2.4G to get to the Garage/Garden)
Seems this is a very widespread issue

I'm facing the same problem with several devices, some connected but no internet and some with limited connection, some devices won't connect to TP Link 2.4 ghz wifi I have a Chrome OS Ideapad duet that also errors out with "cannot connect out of range" even when in full network range. If its a firmware bug please fix this at the earliest by issuing an update, As it stands right now connection is very unreliable with TPLink Archer C6, I'm using it as the main router.
I've tried the fix mentioned in FAQ to no result
Current Firmware is up to date as of writing - 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591
