Hello,

This Archer C20(INWISP) is a customized version for the local ISP market and there is currently no available firmware for it, while the latest firmware on the official website is for the generic version. Even though the hardware of the two are the same, their firmware versions are different and it is not allowed to upload the latest firmware on the official website into your device.

Generally, it is not necessary to upgrade the router firmware if it is currently functioning properly. However, you may provide more details if you've encountered an issue, then we will try to help figure it out.

Good days.

Hello, thanks for the detailed info.

Can I have a screenshot of the device label which shows the region version of the C20? According to your description, it seems that the hardware might be a customized version by your ISP, which may not be allowed to be upgraded to a generic firmware, but we can confirm it first.

Thanks.

Why TP-Link is cheating indian customers? Why they are showing wrong details about the Router in thier website?  This router not supporting Tether App, but website says it supports. After checking website only i ordered this router, but i got different one(non tether app supported)? and you are saying this is country specific, but country website showing different specification and details.

TP-Link cheating customers.

Hello, sorry about that.

As I mentioned earlier, this Archer C20(INWISP) version is not a generic one, so it doesn't allow to be uploaded with the firmware published on the official website.

If this is not acceptable, it is suggested to contact the local tech support to check if there is anything they can help:

Thanks.

@Kevin_Z ...

Hi Kevin, So me and a couple of guys have been reporting this that Archer C20 AC750 (INWISP) is reducing the speeds drastically, due to which they are literally a brick to us.

We have been asking the team for an firmware update but to our dissappointment, we are getting no support.

Can you tell us, who is the correct person to answer for this. If its an unsalvagable issue, it should be told clearly, so that we can throw this out.

Rgds,

DP12
