Can you please send us the screenshot of the current firmware info on your MR6400 as well as the Advanced>Network>Internet page?

 

Meanwhile, you may try to reset the router to factory defaults, reconfigure it from scratch, then confirm if you will get it, thanks.

I tried with firmware TL-MR6400(EU)v5_1.1.0_0.9.1_[201113-rel63736]_up_boot_2020-11-13_17.55.37 but still not able to select band manually.

Still issue persist after reset factory.

I can not select 4G only option after upgrade custom firmware. I restored original firmware from TP link.

I've got the same problems as SBK323 with the beta firmware. 

Please also inform me if there is a solution
