Hi

I have connected my HS 100 and have added a table lamp to my devices. All lights on the plug are as they should be and the device is recognised but when I command Alexa to turn it on I get ok but nothing happens and I turn it on manually and then when I command turn off it does.

My table lamp is plugged and operates via a touch dimmer could this be the problem and if so is there a way round it?

Any comments appreciated

Sounds like it won't turn on without touching a button. If you plug it into a regular outlet and it doesn't come on, it's not going to come on with the smart plug either. There's not many options - modify the lamp to bypass the switch, or taping a penny over the power button, use a "switch bot", stuff like that that may or may not work.
