HS100 Firmware 1.1
I have 2 HS100 v4's that have been working solidly for a while on v1.0.3. According to my smart home these went unavailable over night and now no longer work, they are connected to my wifi but neither my smart home nor the ios kasa app will connect to them.
I tried setting them up again but the ios app only connects if I do a full factory reset, this then works only in the app until I turn the plug off or close the app then it won't connect again.
Can you confirm a firmware release was done? Where are the release notes for this? How do I downgrade to 1.0.3 and prevent auto updates in the future

@scrouchman smart
Me too. I would like the downgrade option also. The only reason I invested in the TP-Link switches were to get the energy info from them. Now, I have a bunch of very expensive "smart" plugs that don't actually do anything smart, and do not connect to any ecosystem that is useful. :-(

I received an email from support, not a message on here. Keep an eye on your email inbox, it might arrive there.

I haven't actually had any instructions yet, I got asked for my mac addresses which I sent it but nothing back yet.
Based on the fact they asked for my mac address I assume they have to set something their end to offer my plugs a different version.

@Brook asked me to email my MAC addresses to UK support, who don't know anything about the problem....

I was able to see and use all my devices by doing a manual config of the TP-Link devices. I removed the TP-Link integration from the INtegrations page on HASS, then I updated my configuration.yaml to have the following:
tplink: discovery: true switch: - host: 192.168.1.a - host: 192.168.1.b - host: 192.168.1.c ...
I actually tried to make it easier for myself and have the following ...
configuration.yaml
tplink: !include tplink.yaml
tplink.yaml
discovery: true switch: - host: 192.168.1.a - host: 192.168.1.b - host: 192.168.1.c
YMMV, but it worked for me. I have HS100, HS110, HS200 and HS300 devices.

whereas I received an email from U.K. support after asking for the downgrade instructions. They reached out to me witj what info was required. I sent them that yesterday and received this today:
"We may push another firmware within this month for the Plugs with latest firmware, a possible firmware downgrade as far as I know.
Please kindly wait for the available Firmware upgrade notice on KASA app, thank you."
