Deco P9 set as main has 100% CPU load Vs. a Deco P7 that only use 20%
Hello
I have a network composed by 3 Deco P7 and 3 Deco P9, in a 3 storey building.
Since I have recently purchased the 3 Deco P9 i have opted to use the new P9 as main DECO.
However anytime i use it as main its CPU load goes 100% and internet connectivity has so many flaws.
I'm forced now to use a Deco P7 as main deco as its CPU load is always around 20%.
Why the Deco P9 cannot function properly as main deco?

Hi, thank you very much for your kind feedback.
And for anyone who had the same issue, there are some things that need to be mentioned first:
1. the High CPU usage as long as it dropped down to normal level after a refresh, would not be the cause of any issues;
so if there is no specific issue, like slow speed, ping spike/latency, or drops out, please don't worry;
2.While, if you noticed any drops out or high latency, the 100% CPU usage would be one phenomenon, again not the cause;
so you could provide some details about your current issue and leave me a message;
3. for the CPU to stay on a high level until a full reboot, it needs your attention as well and please feel free to leave me a message here;
thank you very much and wait for your reply.

I was hoping somebody from TpLink would have helped but no help in this tread.
I am using the P7 as main as the P9 is not performing well as main.
Beside the P7 of used as main has more feature such as antivirus and ddos
I'm very disappointed from tplink..

Same issue here! 100% CPU load with log files showing loads of numerous erronious info.
For example the following error appears approximately every 3 seconds! "daemon.err /usr/bin/apsd: apsd_get_active_ports:214: Error: No such interface 27"

I noticed the same issue and updated the firmware as suggested. The CPU load is still 100%.
Note that I got a brand new P9 today and run immediately into this problem.
Please let me know if there is something I can do to help debug.
