Model: Archer C20  
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 3.16.0 0.9.1 v6038.0 Build 190925 Rel.62876n

Hi I am from India and on the back of the router there is no country specified and on site when i try to download firmware update it shows me Archer C20(EU)_V5_200915. So is this update would be perfect or not for my router and when we are receiving update for tether app for v5 :(

These are the FW releases for your device. TP-Link recommends installing the latest one. If you don't have any issues using the device, there's no need to do that, unless you need to have some of the new features/modifications in this new release.

Thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community.

 

The Archer C20 v5 currently doesn't support Tether app, you may keep an eye on the official website in case there is a new firmware that supports it.
