Note: You will be unable to downgrade to the previous firmware version after updating this firmware.

Hello everyone,
We understand you have been waiting for the Onemesh firmware for Archer AX11000 for long, here comes with the beta version. You can manually update your router firmware if you would like to implement the Onemesh with some existing range extenders.
This is the download link:
https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202104/20210416/ax11000v1-up-ver1-2-0-P8[20210415-rel78917]_beta_2021-04-16_10.34.39.zip (No need to install this beta version anymore)
Refer to this guide to add the existing extender to the Onemesh network:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2509/
We hope you could help provide some details about the network layout, which will help us to understand your usage better:
1. What is the model number of the range extender that you want to add to the AX11000 Onemesh network? How many extenders?
2. How large of the house, how are the AX11000 and the range extenders located, are all on the same floor, or on different floors?
3. How about the Onemesh network performance? Is it as good as expected?
Do let us know how it goes. Have a nice day.

That's good to know.
If the network is stable now, there is no need to update the beta firmware provided by Gaffer I think.

Hello @Kevin_Z
Thank you for your response.
Perhaps you are right, but since we are still at the beta firmware stage, I feel obliged to continue testing. Maybe my observations wil help others, or at least the engineers.
Further, I do not like the idea of sacrificing OFDMA - which is touted as a revolutionary breakthrough in wi-fi 6 - to achieve stability. So I will now see whether the newest beta firmware works properly with it enabled.
On a side note, Tether continues to function poorly, constantly disconnecting from the RE505Xs (even though, as per the engineers' request, I have tested on a number of different smartphones).
EDIT: As I've mentioned elsewhere, the Archer AX11000 is the best router that I have used by far, with the OneMesh implementation being the sole problematic element; it would be excellent if we could get this issue ironed out.

Understood. If that is the case, you can give it a go, and feedback to the engineers if there is an issue.

@Maciej Good Luck - hopefully it will work well with the new firmware .
On my side, everything still remains stable since my last post with "Airtime fairness" OFF and "zero wait DFS" ON (I'm also using only WPA/WPA2 mode).
Currently both nodes have 4 clients (main AX11000 has >10) and nothing has dropped connection so far.

Hello:
Would this forum agree that it is safe to give this bet a try? USing multiple devices for work and school and can't risk to lose connectivity.

Do you have an Onemesh extender? If you want to build up the Onemesh network, you can update this beta firmware on the AX11000. Even those some customers encounter issues with the stability, while most are enjoying it.
If you don't have Onemesh extender right now, then you may wait for the official release in the near future.

I expect there is a long way to have an official one mesh firmware for AX11000

You can upgrade the beta firmware on the AX11000 when the network is 'free', then try to add the RE505X to the Onemesh network one by one, check the network performance. Please update here if there is an issue, we will follow it up.
