TP-LINK Kasa KP115 - Energy Monitoring

I need something to monitor energy use in the house. The store in my area only has this model available for purchase, but I have a few questions.
1. I just need to monitor energy usage, nothing more. Will this be a suitable device?
2. Can I connect an extension cord with several devices to this (TV, Console, Phone Charger...), or does it have to be each device separately?
3. If I lose my wifi connection will the devices shut down or will only app connectivity stop working?

1. you can see the following:
current watts. daily watts.
average daily for the week. weekly total
average daily for the rolling month. rolling month total
and same again but in hours
you cannot export anything or see anything historical
2. of course. do not exceed the meximum load for the smart plug. and to state the obvious- do not expect it to know each device by magic
3. just the comms. if you lose wifi (or internet or both) power to the things is uninterrupted and nice. if you get a power outage the smart plug comes back in last-used state

Can someone explain this to me?

Is there any way I can calculate max load? (TV,Console,Phone and Laptop Charger) 4 total devices. I would like to buy KASA Power Strip and that will be much easier for me but not avalaible in my country :(

@Xaber2k electricity is watts. which is volts in your house x amps of the device. in my home in the uk i would expect for those things:
l.e.d tv = 200 watts
console = 150 watts
phone = 30 watts
laptop = 65 watt
so around 500 maybe. my house is 240 volts. so to be safety checking amps i do this on a calculator: 500watts divided by 249 volts equals = 2.1 amps
so you will be very safe in my house with this :-)
