I am purchasing some remote kasa/Tapo remote smart switches .

I don't have any at present so the app does not matter as I will download the relevant app.

Is there much difference between the models.

IS push notification available on either.

@reg69 If you're asking the difference between Tapo and Kasa Plug, this thread will shed some light. Kasa and tapo use different applications.

Kasa plug supports more schedules rules/ IFTTT .

Tapo plug is cheaper and has a more compact size in design.

As I understand only camera alerts and sends notification when detects a motion, like my Tapo camera did, but on the plug.
