Hi,
Users of Tapo cameras must get the notification on the mobile phone, when cameras switch to offline, because, for example- a burglar can cut the electricity.
Such notifications are norm in security systems. I can't understand why so important an basic function is not available in tapo application? Appplication "knows" when the camera switches to offline, so why doesn't it send a notification in such case? Tp Link should update the application adding this function.

Offline notification for the system, or devices and cameras attached is critical for security as well as electrical loads that are sensitive to interruption

I totally agree. I didn't see that the request for this feature had already been made, so I added it too a few days ago (https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/forum/topic/621386). I add my vote here.

I am actually upset this isnt included. No subscription from me. Any one want to buy used cameras? Im going in a different direction if this is not resolved

this does not address if someone disconnects your electricity, modem or router.
How is there not a notification for when the camera is disconnected for any reason at all? this is such a basic feature.. it is already included on the free versions with your competitors...
you got $40 out of me for cameras, but no more unless this is resolved. Disappointed in tp link

I feel very disappointed and regret buying your products after finding out that this mandatory and very important feature is missing and have not been fixed after more than a year now. What is the status? When are you planning to fix this?

A camera without notification for offline is useless as safety camera. First thing a burglar does is always cut the power. The feature must be implemented, with high level alert on the app.

Totally agree. Just added my vote to get this feature implemented. Hope it brings something. Otherwise one can use those cameras just for monitoring babies or puppies, but not as safety cameras as they are advertised.
