Hi

 

Are there any plans for updates for this model? What is going on with this? We had the latest update in January 2021!

 

My 5Ghz disappears sometimes and these are the errors which I have in my log found under Error and Critical:

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

As the technical support, we will not be informed ahead of the firmware release plan either and we also get the new firmware officiation from the official websites.

For the system log here, it did not say too much about your current 5G disappearing issue.

May I know how long have you had Deco P9 and did this issue just start recently?

When the 5ghz disappeared, did all the mobile devices not detect any 5Ghz signal?

And did you need to restart or even reset to get the 5Ghz radio back?

  @David-TP Thank you for the reply. I am aware that it's not your domain, but it's a disgrace nonetheless. 

 

This is at my parents house, so I have limited amount of time with it. This log was after I have restarted the routers since I was unable to see 5Ghz from my laptop or my phone.

I cannot access the logs somehow outside of the network, can I?

  @LaMpiR you are right and when it comes to future plans, I always feel my hands are tied.blush

 

For other details, it is not able to access the web logs when you are not on the Deco's Wi-Fi.

There is a newer beta version for Deco P9 that has improved the overall network stability and performance and if you are interested, you could refer to the private message to install this firmware. (It could be reverted back to the official version.)

  @David-TP thank you very much for the offer. Unfortunately, as it is in my parent's house and I don't have lan access to it, nor can I VPN to the router, I have to decline due to need for much stability as possible. 

 

Would you maybe be able to check the ETA on that update?

  @LaMpiR  no and there won't every be any updates because TP-Link is the worest company in the World. I hope all the time too find someone who will buy my P9 and X60 to buy an System from any other Brand. Also Amazons Mesh is better than TP-Link

@Devil1988 I though only the older models, but all? Wow, did not expect that.

 

I have nothing positive to say about them at this moment. 

 

I am looking into Asus for replacement.
