Hello,

I have some tapo cameras c210, c200 and so on.. I bought the new Tapo C420S2. Design and logic is very smart, but I found an important issue for my experience.

I can share my old cameras with username and password in order that I can use the RTSP protocol, unfortunately I can not do it with the new camera C420S2 because the section/feature is missing in the app.

The question is: Why?

I understand the company line to save the battery, but I think that the end user should decide this mode or not with a simple switch button as all available features.

The RSTP protocol is an excellent skill of Tapo Camera for N reasons: portability, availability, marketing, and so on.. of a stream of data.

I ask to community to support this my request to improve the Tapo Product. :)

Hi @Marco10

Tapo C420S2 is a wireless camera powered by the battery. For the purpose of saving battery, this model does not support RTSP.
