Hi.

I am using the TD-W9970 in access point mode. I followed the instructions in https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/td-w9970/#video for routers which do not support access point mode. After setting the IP address in LAN Settings, I cannot log into the router using the browser anymore. I tried entering the new IP address, the default one and tplinkmodem.net/, but each time I get an error. I tried different browsers, so it is not the browser cache.

Does anyone know how I can log back in to set up the wifi connection?

Thanks!

Hello, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.

1. is the Access Point still connected to your main router?

2. What is the LAN IP address of your main router and the IP address you've changed for the access point?

3. Did you already disable DHCP Server on the access point?

4. When connecting a computer to the access point, please check the computer IP address and default gateway to see if it has obtained IP address from the main router.

How to find IP address on your devices
