I would like to trigger webhooks when pressing my S200B Smart Button. This looks like it could be possible through IFTTT if an integration was supported.

Is this not possible at the moment? IFTTT with Tapo has a "turn on" trigger, would that get triggered on the press of the button?

  @Valerio_v From what I can see the turn on trigger is this:

 

Turn On

This trigger fires every time a plug/bulb turns on.

 

I think it only support light bulbs at the moment, would be awesome if we could get support for the buttons too.

  @sphynxcats I can unfortunately confirm that it does not work as IFTTT does not see the button as device when configuring the applet. A real pity, as the tp-link website says that Smart Plugs, Smart Switches, Smart Bulbs all work with IFTTT.

True, there are no Applets that linked to smart button presses.
