Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.12.10

Hi, I want to check the latest firmware for Archer C80, but i always got this message "Firmware is up to date"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And when i see tp-link driver page. The new version of the firmware for Archer C80 is available. The questions is, is any problem with automatic update via management page? or should i manually download from driver page and is it safe?

This happens often, new updates are propagated on time schedule. Don't worry just download the update for your HW version and region and update manually - it is safe.

Don't forget to uzip the archive first and then point to the bin file.

  @terziyski Thanks for your answer but, i'm not sure it's a "propagated on time schedule". Because the latest update has come from two months ago and i think weird if we cannot got the latest update firmware notification while in the tp-link driver page has available.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just see and found this topic is it related? Because there is issue on the latest firmware 1.13.1 Build 230609

Yes, this is related and the issue may or may not affect your device:

If you're concerned that this may affect your device just wait for the next stable FW release on your local support portal (this probably would be 1.13.2).

I believe that when the next stable FW release is available, it would be visible on the router's WebGUI as well.
