Just installed my L900-5 smart strip and either the first 1m or last 4m are showing different colours and dimming doesn't seem to work. I have reset and reinstalled but still the same.
Are you using the original controller? If the LED strip has any folded or bent sections, please try unfolding them and observe the lighting again.
We recommend factory resetting the LED strip and testing it once more. How to Reset Tapo Light Strip
If you still notice inconsistent colors in certain segments, it's likely a hardware issue with the product. Please contact the retailer or local TP-Link support to proceed warranty.
