DHCP Won't Turn Off

AC750 Range Extender bought a week ago on Amazon.
WPS paired.
Started getting errors on my Mac saying the IP address was already in use.
Used Tether and turned off DHCP so our existing router is only DHCP server.
Duplicates are still happening, but stop if we turn the AC750 off.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Is the AC750 RE450?
Have you tried to reset the network settings on the Macbook?
Is Mac the only device that had this duplicate IP address issue?
Please also turn off "Private Address" on the Mac to see whether it helps.
