Currently trying to setup my KP105 Kasa smart plug but having issues.

What I have done so far:

1) Load up app and connect to my router's 2.4GHz network (Also disabled my 5GHz network)

2) Plug in and turn on the Kasa smart plug

3) got a flashing green & orange light

4) goes to establish connection and get notification to connect to TP-link_Smart_Plug_98DD

5) press Yes to connect

6) Stays stuck in establishing connection

7) Says it can't connect to the smart plug and to try again.

The Kasa smart plug itself is smack bang right next to my router and so is my phone, so can't get any closer.

Phone is android pixel 3XL

Router is Netgear D6400
