I own several of these cameras but not entirely happy with their low light performance. The daylight performance of the camera is good, but once it gets even slightly darker outside, the shutter speed drops like a rock and it is impossible to identify things like car license plates while they're moving. It would vastly improve the performance and usefulness of these cameras if it would be possible to manually set the minimum shutter speed. I realize it will result in darker image, but that's a small price to pay for the performance improvement. Such a feature is present in many other cameras of different brands. Unfortunately practically all things that should be monitored happen at night, so this is really a deal breaker.

Yes - LPR in particular is a problem on these cameras with the current shutter speed. In fact, anything moving is a blur!
