KE100 with existing timer/thermostat?
At the moment our flat has a wireless thermistat/timer which controls all the heating, and we'd like to get some more control so we don't heat the bedrooms during the day. The KE100 seem a good choice for us because they are cost effective and would mean we can keep the existing boiler controller.
My question is how to get the best from the KE100 alongside a central timer/thermostat - It doesn't seem right to set the existing controller to tell the boiler to always be "on" all the time, because even if all the radiators are "off" it'll be using a little gas. But it also doesn't seem ideal to have the timer turn everything off on a rigid schedule so we can't use the app to turn the heating on if we are up late.
Is there any advice for this sort of approach?
