Can I use a WPA-4220 as PLC adapter? (i.e. without a TL-PA4010)
Hi,
Could I use a WPA-4220 instead of the PA-4010 as powerline adapter?
So, instead of
Router --> PA-4010 ----- (PLC) ---- WPA4220
it would be:
Router --> WPA4220 ----- (PLC) ---- WPA4220.
Thanks!
Rgrds,
Tony

Hi,
Yes.
In general, all Powerline adapters that follow the "HomePlug AV" and "HomePlug AV2" standards are compatible with each other. (which means you can pair any of them as you wish)
Of course, there is always a remote possibility of hitting upon a compatibility issue, like one user reported here, but that's just an unfortunate coincidence.
