Hi there. 

 

I bought two l530e 2 month ago and both stopped working. I have tried to reset both, but no success. I reset my router as well but the situation remains the same. 

 

I have two other l530e, that I bought 3 months ago, and they work fine. 

 

What can I do?

Please take a look at this FAQ instruction or the video, make sure the reset has been performed correctly.

If the smart plug WiFi appears, then you could go ahead to set it up.

Please be more specific about the problem. Is it about device configuration, App control failure or certain function doesn't work?

  @Wayne-TP sorry for the delayed reply. Both devices stopped working within days. I can't paired them with the app, I've tried to reset both but no success. I've tested my other tapo lights on the same lamp and they work. I did the switch on/off process but the light bulb never blinks.

  @Wayne-TP hi there. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. The light never turns on. 

 

Is there another solution?

Are you saying the light bulb won't turn on? Have you tried to switch a different lamp base?

 

Or does it not flash after reset? And the smart light bulb's WiFi is also not discoverable? In this case, it looks like a hardware problem, you may reach retailer or local TP-Link support to proceed with warranty.

  @Wayne-TP Yes, both lights don't flash. I think I need to ask for a return. Thank you for your help
