Basically as the title.
I would love to have the option to turn on continuouse recording for the battery powered devices like C425, when I have solar panel, or continuouse power source. While i currently don't have power available, but I would love to have an option to just plug it in later when i have a chance to hire someone to add an new outdoor outlet, and I don't necessary need to change my camera.
plus, we can have soloar panel

Would love this feature if it detects a continuous power source. Also maybe enable it but just display a warning that it will consume more power and mention that its recommend to have it powered either by solar or AC

That's the best option, if you can return it. Unlikely the feature will become available. The security camera becomes insecure, if it can't do continuous recording. I regret to have bought one.

I can understand why this isn’t already a feature. The solar powered cameras are at 100% al the time so they could certainly take it

I bought a TC82 which has a dedicated usb-c Port specifically for this task. We should be able to use our cameras how we want and getting through the app setup only to find that tplink decided we cant handle RTSP/ONVIF on our battery cameras was annoying at minimum. This feature needs to be added and if a web interface could be gifted upon is that would make me buy these regularly. Thanks
