Can you share some screenshots of your Tapo automation settings here? As well as the event log of the S200B.
What's the signal strength of the S200B? (App ->Device's Settings ->Device Info, click the signal icon to check the RSSI rate.) If it gets a weak signal, try to move the hub closer to it.
Please also check the signal strength of the Tapo hub as well.
Strong: more than -50 dBm Good to Average: among -70 dBm to-50 dBm Poor: less than -70 dBm
Note: If RSSI is less than -70dBm, the signal is too weak. |

I have same problem, S200B is 3m away from hub. S200B single tap and rotation works fine, double tap stopped. Trying to control a P110 which is also in the same room. All three devices are inside a room 8x5m. Can't be signal strength problem. Everything used to work nicely for months!

Is the automation created by Alexa or Tapo? Try to create the automation in the Tapo App for testing.
Is the double tap operation recorded in the event log of the S200B?
