Model: Tapo L510B
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

This problem applies to every TP-link product I have. Because of poor internet connectivity I have gone to Starlink. They all recognize Starlink Wi-Fi (6) but when it comes to pairing the "correct" password isn't recognized. Every other smart product I have doesn't have this problem. I notice that in all the other forums,  TP-link is blaming the Starlink router. I think not. In not sure if it's hardware or Firmware but TP-link needs to own up and sort it.

What error did you receive?

  • Check if the WiFi's wireless encryption is set to WPA3, not every Tapo device supports WPA3.
  • If there is only one SSID (dual-band WiFi), try to separate a 2.4GHz WiFi for the smart devices.
