I use the camera in my sons nursery but I’m considering buying a different camera that has an app that supports Picture in Picture because it’s a pain having to go into the app every time I want to check on my son and it would be nice and reassuring to be able to see him on my screen when I’m using my phone

I agree with the others. Picture in picture would be very useful.

At this point, it’s clear that Picture-in-Picture isn’t coming to the Tapo app — despite the fact that it’s been widely requested and technically easy to implement, especially since iOS 14 and Android 8 introduced native support. The interest and feedback have been more than enough for the dev team to take notice, but their continued silence suggests it’s simply not a priority. As frustrating as that is, the more realistic solution might be to start looking at alternative products that actually listen to their users.  @Solla-topee

@Haes09 this is spot on. it's crazy we haven't even received acknowledgement on it? I got a bunch for a care home here and taking them all back and can't reccomend to

anyone else because of this. thank goodness for costco return policy.

Hi All,.
to date I have not revived any feedback from tp-link / tapo.

I returned my tapo device and actually purchased another brand called Nanit, it's more expensive but there are lots of forums / marketplace of ppl reselling them online, so can get them at good prices. And if does what I'm looking for and has way more features.

pity about the poor customer support, no response / acknowledgment and would have been a great feature.

Please could this be introduced, I also use the camera as a baby monitor and have a second one to keep an eye on my dog too and it would be a life saver😫🙏
