Yes please! Can an admin can give an update when or if the feature will be available?
Thanks 🙏

its almost 2026. this feature request has been ongoing for close to two years now. is this really that big of a pull from the dev side? I wish marketing could see the potential of this as well and tap into the baby market. an update on PIP would be appreciated at the very least. what is the actual roadblock?

Tapo you seriously need to kick your dev team up the butt, or if they haven't been instructed to add it then you need to kick the decision makers up the butt.
Android PIP / floating window doesn't work either.
I have several manufacturer's cameras, around the same price point and cheaper and they all offer this feature in their app as standard.
We shouldn't have to use a third party app to achieve this.
Whilst these cameras are excellent value for money I will not be recommending these purely for this reason.

@JMM26 agree with this completely. really pathetic in 2026 that we can't even get an update about this or acknowledgement about it.
what third party app are you using?
seriously need to ditch these cameras

Agreed.
I currently have enabled ONVIF/RTSP which streams the feed, and using home assistant, thinking of setting up Frigate alongside or within HA.
I only have it running locally though. Not brave enough to allow them off of their VLAN just yet.
