Model: TL-WR841N

Hardware Version: V11

Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 150616 Rel.52099n

I have been having connectivity issues for quite some time. I have tried downloading and installing the updates as they come through but have been unable.

I tried to upgrade the firmware to TL-WR841N(US)_V14_220816 however everytime I try and install it, I keep getting the following error -

Error

Error code: 18005

Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.

Can someone please help? What am I doing wrong and why wont it upgrade?

Hi,

If you have a TL-WR841N (US) V11, then you can only install firmware upgrades that are designed for the hardware version V11.
