Automated photo -at same time every day
I would like to take a picture every day at the same time, to follow progress on a construction site. I find settings for triggering an action at a given time, but I cannot find "take a picture" on the list of possible actions.

Stunned that such a simple feature is not included. Like many others, this was the only function I needed. Back to shop for a different brand of camera.

I ran into the same issue and ended up setting a timer in the Kasa app instead—so it turns the light off a few minutes after it turns on with motion.

I also would like this feature. Taking a snapshot at a given time, preferably a Smart action. This is a camera. One would expect that you should be able to automate taking a pic.

I need this as well... and some upload/send functionality to my own server if possible.

I would like to +1 this request, and expand it to "it would be super cool if I could turn a Tapo camera into a time lapse camera". I live in a nice place with pretty mountains and honestly I'd buy another camera just to put it up on a pole and have it take time-lapse pictures every 15 minutes (or whatever interval). That would be amazing.
Edited to add: I just realized that all TP-Link has to add is "take a picture" as an automation function. If that was a function we could just use the automation capability of the app to tell it to take a picture on whatever interval we wanted.
