Hi Kasa Support,

 

I have 2 problems/questions:

  1. I have 5 Kasa KE100 devices, but when I sync my Kasa account with Google Home, it just imports 2 out of 5 radiator thermostats.
    1. They are all the same version and firmware.
    2. However the 2 that syncs with Google Home is connected to a Kasa KH100 hub and the 3 that don't are connected to a H100 Tapo hub, if that makes a difference?
    3. Can you help me figure this out?
  2. I can't share the Kasa KE100 with my wife like I do with all my other Tapo devices, neither from the Tapo app nor the Kasa app.
    1. Are the KE100 not shareable by default?
    2. And if so, why not?
    3. If I should be able to share them, can you tell me how?

Kasa device cannot be shared. Device sharing feature is not supported on Kasa device. 

 

If the device is linked with Tapo, Tapo should also be linked with Google Home.

  1. OK, Is there any plan to enable sharing on Kasa devices?
  2. The devices are linked with Tapo and the Tapo account is also linked with Google Home.
    1. I tried several times to search for new devices for both Tapo and Kasa.
    2. I also opened a case with Google Home support yesterday and they said to contact you.

Checked with the support team, KE100 which is linked with H100 cannot be synced to Google Home app.

 

There are plans for optimization and it is expected to be released in 1-2 months.
