I have an archer VR2800 and its marked as end of life, i stil need a VDSL router to use on Now Broadband (UK)
Long-term I'm looking to update to full fibre (FTTC) an with that sign up to a voip provider.
is it recomended to replace the VR2800 soon, and what will give Voip and a vdsl modem as well as compatibility with an open reach ONT for the future?

Hi,
For your case, it is recommended to consider on this model, Archer VX1800v.
If it is using with Now VDSL, please update to the beta firmware in this thread.
And we will recently release the official firmware to support Sky MER soon. Please keep an eye on our official webpage.

Re:Archer VR2800 end of life - replacement?
Sunday
@Sunshine Disconected the new VX1800v and plugged the old router back in - no issues so far. The intention was to upgrade/update the VR2800 with a newer model that is not marked as end of life and have something future-proof with built in Voip End result is something that is not fit for purpose and impressions of the VX1800v will foul the swear filter on this forum which in turn is preventing me from using the words that i would like to and are appropriate for the situation. If there is no fix available then the thing will be sent back with a scathing review left on the retailers and any other review site i can find also see here : https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/715290?replyId=1438238
