Hi

Does anyone know how I can set my light to come on when motion is triggered stay on for say 20sec and then fade out for 10 secs?

I can get it to come on and stay on for 20secs and then turn off using 'remain on for set time' but I find the sudden off disorienting so would prefer a gradual off

and I have then tried to add another action 'fade off for 10 secs' but it then seems to overlap and not stay on for 20secs first?

what am I missing please?

  @Bearlow

May i know what's the model of your Tapo light bulb?

When an automation is activated, all actions set will take effect at the same time. If you want the two actions to be executed in chronological order, you need to insert a delay action between them.

For your case, insert a 20s delay between the “Remain on for a set time” and “Fade Off” actions.
