Model: KE100 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.8.0 Build 240202 Rel.135229

Hi, one of my KE100 Kasa Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve has a stuck battery door. Using the tool provided the battery cover moves very slightly to unlock and then very slightly back to lock but not enough to release the door. I have applied all the pressure I can with the unlock tool provided without luck.

I have replaced the batteries in many other KE100's and this is the first time I have come across this problem.

Is there a recommended way to release the door?

Please ensure that you are not twisting the battery cover in the wrong direction. Check the marks on the battery cover carefully.
