Model: Tapo L535E
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 241017 Rel. 111025

Hi, recently I got firmware update on my L535E matter light bulb by reporting fade issues, And it is solved.

However I noticed another issue after this update. The bulbs are keep losing their matter controllers randomly at any time. or after power outage. I've never experienced this issue before this update.

So I tried all matter controllers that I have for now,

which are 1) SmartThings hub V3, 2) Google nest hub 2nd gen, 3) Home assistant matter.

And they're keep saying the bulbs are offline.

They can't be reconnected until I reset the bulbs manually and reconfigure. (Even if I reset, the issues are same. I already tried like 10 times)

I can see that the bulbs are still connected on Wifi network by confirming on Tapo app which uses local API(HA Tapo integration shows same). It just loses their matter hub. I really don't know why, I cannot find the solution. There is no change on my local network.

  @user523

What are the system versions of the matter controllers you have tried?

Are you able to control Tapo L535E remotely (e.g. use cellular data) with Tapo app when the problem happens?

To assist with this case, a specialist will help to follow it up through email. Please check your inbox later to confirm.

  @Wayne-TP

1) SmartThings hub V3.

System firmware : 000.054.00014

Matter SDK : 1.3-0

Controller ver. : 2.3.41-17

2) Google nest hub 2nd gen.

System firmware : 20.20240530.3.18100

3) Home assistant

Core : 2024.11.1

Supervisor : 2024.11.2

Operating system : 13.2

Matter server : 6.6.0

The bulbs are still able to control remotely (All functions are working) with Tapo app using cellular network.

Additionally, after being disconnected themselves from matter controller, They show up to the available device list when I started to search nearby device via SmartThings app. (or other platforms, such as Mi Home) But they won't connect via QR or digit codes until I reset them manually. As I said, They're still connected to the Wifi network and it's controllable on Tapo app.

My email address is same as address that I registered here.
