Option to Keep Patrol Mode Active After Pan & Tilt Adjustments
Hello Tapo Team and Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m a satisfied user of the Tapo C520WS outdoor camera, and I appreciate the excellent range of features it offers, particularly the Patrol mode for automated surveillance. However, I’ve encountered a limitation that I believe could significantly improve the user experience.
Currently, when I or any invited user manually adjusts the camera using the Pan & Tilt function, Patrol mode is automatically disabled, and only the owner can reactivate it. While I understand this is by design, it would be incredibly useful to have an option for the camera to automatically resume Patrol mode after manual adjustments, or perhaps have a setting where this behavior could be user-configurable.
This feature would be particularly beneficial in scenarios where multiple users share control of the camera but may not have the ability to re-enable Patrol mode afterward. Ensuring continuous patrol coverage after adjustments could enhance both security and convenience for many users.
Could this feature be considered for a future firmware update? I believe it would add significant value to the Tapo C520WS camera and further enhance its appeal.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this request, and I look forward to hearing feedback from both the community and the Tapo development team.
Best regards,
A Friendly Tapo User
