Hallo Community,

 

ich habe die Glühbirne "Tapo L535E" mit der Alexa verbunden und grundsätzlich funktioniert das Ein- und Ausschalten der Lampe.

 

Sporadisch ist es allerdings so, dass diese nach dem Kommando "Alexa, Lampe im Schlafzimmer einschalten" nur für ca. 1 Sekunde angeht und danach gleich wieder aus geht. Den Vorgang muss ich dann ca. 3 x wiederholen und dann bleibt die Lampe an.

 

Woran liegt das und wie kann ich das ggf. beheben?

Normally Tapo device is set up and managed through Tapo app only. But for a Matter-certified device, device's configuration and management can be done on other platforms (that support Matter).

 

It seems like your Tapo L535E is linked to Alexa directly and you don't use the Tapo app? I recommend observing whether the same issue occurs with the bulb when using different Alexa control methods—such as the app, voice commands, or automation. Or is it the problem is limited to a specific method?

What if the command is sent through the Alexa app? Will this issue occur?

 

Is this Tapo L535E linked to Alexa through Matter?

 

Or linked through Tapo? Is there anything unusual about controlling the device from within the Tapo app?

  @Wayne-TP Thanks a lot for your answer.

 

I have deleted the konfiguration and set it new. I have seen, that there was a failure in the configuration with "on" and "off".

 

But i didn't know that there is a difference between Matter and Tapo. I thought that Matter is a interface standard.

 

I will test it furthermore.
