Auto-reboot for C425
Auto-reboot for C425

After the latest firmware update, my C425 gets offline regularly (offline from internet but connected to wifi). All our Tapo camera are online (C200, C520WS, C125, etc.). Small area only, so not issue with wifi signal). I have to do manual reboot to get it back online, it will be a big help if we can have auto reboot function, as so we don't need to climb up just to reboot.

Same problem here. My camera even disconnects from wifi. I am traveling long time and cannot manually reboot the camera. When I ssh to my router I can see it has not connected to wifi. Worked fine for a week after I left home then went offline for no apparent reason. Scheduled reboot is a basic feature that should be available in any surveillance camera. I am happy with other tapo products but I am considering a different vendor for security cameras because of this. In it's current firmware state it's of no use to me when I actually need it.

For users experiencing WiFi disconnection issues with their Tapo camera, we strongly recommend focusing on the problem itself. Consider reaching out to local TP-Link technical support or starting a discussion thread in the community to find a solution. While product software features enhance the user experience, they may not be the ultimate solution for certain performance issues.
