Hey TP-LINK !!

 

I have been facing bad behaviour of Deco App with my Deco M4 everytime Deco App took longer time to change some settings like DNS, WiFi and other settings and also took longer time to update clients list but i have'nt faced this problem with Deco X20 but i was not facing these issues on previous firmware 1.6.5 or maybe i think i have to wait for stable 1.7.0 update and i have already tried to change DNS Server and also changed to AP Mode and also remove the Satellite Deco Units and also changed the SSID to stopped (IoT) devices to connect to Deco WiFi but still same problem. I have already shared complain from Deco App and Logs too

Hi,  for the client list display issue, I think it might be an ongoing issue and will last for a while. Basically, there was feedback on different models with various firmware versions.

 

As for the error "unable to connect to Deco", I did remember it was mentioned on 1.6.5 before somewhere.

Apart from the APP logs, can you help me check the following details as well:

How often would you run into this error?

Will Deco M4 turn red or stay on solid white?

Do you need to restart Deco to get rid of this error, or does it automatically disappear after a while?

  @David-TP Deco light remains solid white and internet connection working fine and this error automatically gone after i use the Deco App by using VPN

  @David-TP Kindly fix the issue of Unable to connect to Deco error on Deco App with Deco M4 after firmware 1.7.0. and the error is not coming because of ECO Mode this error is coming before i turned ON ECO Mode from first day of firmware update.
