The light bulb does not connect to the phone
At first, my light started flashing, so I decided to reboot it. I'm deleting it from the app to reconnect it. I turn on the lamp and it flashes only 2 times, then it shines less brightly and does not connect to the phone. I've already tried everything, but it doesn't work. Help

@vinileonid Sounds like the bulb isn't entering proper pairing mode—after a reset, it should blink rapidly. Try a full factory reset by toggling it on and off 3-5 times until it starts flashing quickly. If that doesn't shake it into pairing mode, check if the app or firmware needs an update.

unfortunatelly nothing works on me
not soft/hard reset of the light,
installing /uninstalling app,
shut down cel data,
distance is close up to 20cm, and still not works, the only possible
clue is perhaps that on the main screen of the app under Myhome there is a red message under wifi signal saying
"Network Unstable". so probably is something wrong with your device WiFi? Tapo_Bulb_XXXX???

i have already spend 1 day trying to make a simple connection between your device and your app and is frustrating and disapointing not to be able to perform the simplest of tasks as to pair one smart device with the manufactorer sw app
please advise possible solutions

the only message i am seeing is on the main screen of the app
please see attached
i already performed:
- force stop of App
- Uninstall/reinstall of app
- Soft reset on L630 (open/Close power 3 times)
- Hard reset on L630(open/Close power 5 times)
- mobile data is off
- deactivate auto reconnecting in my home Wi-Fi
- No VPN running on my Mobile
with no positive results

Do you see this error when your phone is on WiFi? This may not affect the configuration. I suggest that you try to configure the smart bulb directly. How to set up Tapo smart bulb

Dear Wayne & TP Link team
i had replaced the L630 under warranty rights today from my supplier.
The new one needed about 20 sec to establish the pair with the application!
The new one is working perefectly!
no need to restart-reinstall or do anything in the app or on the Bulb.
seems that the temp WiFi on old Tapo Bulb L630 was not working properly (as I was suspected)
