Hey. I bought a pack of four Tapo L530e bulbs, and I have already installed two of them. The setup was easy, connected to the wifi and successfully added to the Tapo app. Now, the problem is when I turn off the device from the app. I press the turn off button a the light starts to fade, but it does not turn off completely. It remains something like 30% of its luminosity, always on. 

 



What could be going wrong?

Double-check the rated voltage of the smart bulb. Such things may happen if your circuit voltage is higher than the light bulb's support range, and there is a high possibility of damaging the device in this case.

  @Wayne-TP thanks. I live in Uruguay. 220V is our voltage here. The bulbs work ok, I mean, if they were not able to work with 220V the might have just blown up when I first plugged them. Ain't that right?

Have you checked the light bulb or its package to verify the rated voltage?
