Light color
I just installed tapo light L530.
All i want is between sunset and 8:00am the light to be red. And between 8:00am to sunset the light to be white. How i can do it on the tapo app?

The automation described above does not actively turn on the light bulb; it only defines the light effect (color/brightness) when the bulb is turned on during a specific time period.
The scenario you described cannot be fully achieved, as the time period cannot function as a trigger for the automation. This means the bulb cannot perform on/off or color-switching actions based on the current time.
A possible workaround is to create multiple automations that are triggered at specific times to check the bulb's status. If it is on, then switch light bulb color. For example:
- At 10:30 AM, if the bulb is on, turn on the light bulb and set it to 100% red.
- At 11:00 AM, if the bulb is on, turn on the light bulb and set it to 100% red.
- At 11:30 AM, if the bulb is on, turn on the light bulb and set it to 100% red.

@Tonitoni without turning on or off the light, without fading on or off, and whatever if the light was on or off from app or on or off from switch

To achieve this, the smart bulb should be turned on/off through the Tapo app, the settings won't take effect if you control the bulb from the switch.
Creating some automation for the smart bulb can achieve this scene. How to create Smart Action (Automation or Shortcut) on Tapo app
For example, in the automation rule below, if the smart bulb turns on from sunset (the previous day) until 08:00 AM (today), it will activate at 100% red brightness.
- Set the effective time for the automation rule: e.g., from sunset to 08:00 AM.
- Choose "Device Status Change" as the Trigger, and configure the rule to activate 'when the smart bulb turns on'.
- Set the Action rule: select the same smart bulb and choose the action 'Turn on and customize lighting'. For example, turn on and set to red at 100% brightness.

with your solution, the light will turn on even if i am not at home!! Thats why i am asking to only change the color, so if it is on it changes to red, if its is off, it stays off and it turns red once it is turned on.
