You can simply change the color and effective time settings in the schedule rule and set the operation all to 'Turn On'. The schedule rule takes effect regardless of the current on/off state of the light bulb, for example, Even if there are ten consecutive schedules set to "turn on," they will still work as intended.

@Wayne-TP that is correct assuming i am not controlling the light from the switch, right?

When the schedule rules are created, the smart bulb will turn on/off itself automatically. But if you shut it down through the wall switch -- cutting off smart bulb's power and network connection, the bulb will not follow the schedule anymore unless the power and network connection restores.

@Wayne-TP it is dumb that once the light is turned on from the switch, it doesnt recap the activity that she missed while it has no power! i dont find it smart 😛.
it is difficult for me to not control from the switches.
for me, since the i set the time range from sunset to 8:00am, the first thing it should do when it is turned on from the switch is to check what should its status be within that time!
